In applying spray Truck Bed Liners there are two ways to get adhesion. Mechanical, which comes from roughing surface or Chemical which creates an intermediate bite from surface to sprayed material.
SprayMaxLiners now offers a 100% solid liquid Iso fortified with Zinc to help prevent rusting. You add 3 parts Xylene to 1 part GetAGrip. This offers you savings in weight and hazardous material shipping.
Now you simply solvent wipe entire bed and rails to remove wax, roughen with 400 Grit Sand paper and re solvent wipe. You apply the GetAGrip basically as THIN as you can over all areas (no puddeling of material). You then have about a 10 minute wait time, depending on temperature.
This primer is also ideal for applying over old weathered Spray Bed Liners.
